        They didn't. He lost a libel case in the high court, was ordered to pay £100,000 in compensation and the plaintiffs legal bills.

          And the money seems to be sat in a house belonging to his "ex-"wife who initiated a divorce before the final court case which resulted in her owning outright all his assets.

          I put the "ex-" in quotes because the case does seem to boil down to the individual spending an awful lot of time in the property that belongs to his ex including supervising some building work.
