It's not really a story, except the French aren't granting reciprocal permits for Jersey-based boats. I don't think there will be any gunboats though, and trade disputes are rarely amusing for anyone.

They didn't supply the evidence agreed and therefore were refused licences. The french are behaving like someone asked for id refused to supply it and then swearing at the barman and accusing him of being racist because he won't serve him promising to be back to cause trouble later.
