    XR blocking M25 Again

    Yep they are back again....

    https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/insulate-...ime-this-week/

Climate change protesters sparked the fury of motorists again this morning, causing major traffic disruption when they blocked access to the M25 for the second time in a week.

Eighteen protesters belonging to 'Insulate Britain' halted traffic near Junction 23 at South Mimms in their latest protest.

Earlier this week there were furious clashes between the protesters and drivers after they carried out a similar protest, blocking the motorway and sparking huge tailbacks. 92 people were arrested.

Many of the protesters taking part in today's disruption were arrested and held by police for up to 10 hours after Monday's protest, which was criticised as being "extraordinarily dangerous."

LBC watched the angry scenes unfold with some drivers leaving their cars before attempting to drag protesters off roads and others mounting grass verges to avoid delays.

Now speaking to "Josh from Manchester"

He was arrested on Monday. "The police were professional and kind to us."

"I was released after 10 hours for investigation. "

    There was no bail conditions.

Now speaking to lots of angry drivers including an NHS worker who has come off a night shift.

Speaking to a pharmacist who is going in to open his pharmacy...

I wonder how many people they had to talk to before they found NHS workers? Talking to someone going to Waitrose for a latte doesn't stir up as good emotions as tracking down an NHS worker.

Well the reporter saw a HGV nearly run over some of the protesters so I don't suspect it was hard...

Just heard how Hertfordshire police spoke to the protestors.

Wonder how the police would be speaking to them if they were protesting for women not to be attacked by a serving policeman or were mostly non-white?

The police are protecting the protesters from angry members of the public. Including an angry business owner whose customers can't get through.

I wonder if those affected let down the tyres on the protesters vehicles as a protest the police would be nice?

Sooner or later one of them will cause an accident lets hope they are sued to bankruptcy!

Actually that is a thought would a lawyer start a civil suit to recover costs from these idiots?

Only a matter of time before someone takes a baseball bat to one of them. Hopefully before the Police get there.
