    Trump still banned...

    ...on Facebook.

Guess they are scared of him causing more problems...

Next 6 months are going to be tricky for FB. Lot of issues with advertising not being as effective anymore, other platforms gaining on them.

They want to be able to pull out a "oh we had to let him back on" card if they have to.

If he 'officially' joins gab in 6 months, both FB and Twitter will feel that.

I heard that for most young people these days using Facebook is about as appealing as a saturday night WW2 sing-song down at the Derby and Jones club.

      It's for their parents' generation.

He had 25 million followers on youthful Instagram which they also locked him from. You can still see his posts though.

Signal got banned from advertising on Facebook today.

At least he can still post on CUK. We do have some morals and standards, but they're lower than FaceTwits, and long may that remain so...
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

He launched his own platform now anyway. "From the desk of Donald Trump"... you can see his posts (nobody else's) and like them. I think those are the only options so as social networks go it's a bit limited.

He tried to buy a 30% share in Gab but they want to remain independent. If he is well advised he would just set up mastodon servers under that domain, posts can then be shared with gab and other platforms on the fediverse as Gab is just a cut of mastodon. Possible that it is mastadon underneath it.

The fediverse/mastodon branches will take down Twitter in a couple of years.

Because they own WhatsApp and want to kill their competition. s

Signal did deliberately break the advert policies to get banned. Someone on here probably runs the campaigns

Donald actually called me up a few minutes after I posted that. Wanted my advice.

He will join in a few months, once they have scaled it, the site will eventually get 50-100 million users. Twitter were idiots chucking him out, it's fairly easy to set these things up now and they are losing tens of millions of users each time it happens. Older people with disposable income.
