Taking illegal bungs, that evade tax, and break the ministerial code, from donors wanting leverage, is not the right way to go about it though.

This is one argument why leaders should be highly paid and have all these things as part of the job, to remove temptation or at least make it a lot more expensive. It should cost millions to buy the PM's favor!
