    Not politically correct census question

A 3rd person living in my house.
    It's my daughter.

Option is "son or daughter". Why not "child". Why this cis-centric question.
The option for a stepchild is simply "stepchild". Why does their gender not matter?

Oh dear. You transphobe. If your child identifies as a girl, then she's a girl, even if born male. Not cis-centric at all.

Or, more likely, they're collecting important demographic information, where identity politics has no say.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

how the chuff do you read that and decide I'm a transphobe?
I am questioning why they state genders for child but not for stepchildren. It makes no sense.

And they have questions on identity. So they are collecting that information.

There is a question on your gender identity as well as your sex at birth, so it makes sense to say are you answering for your "child"

You said it is cis-centric. It isn't.

Ahh. You mean that I was wrong. But rather than point that out (which I accept on reflection), you decided to lazily use the tired insult of calling everyone racist/sexist/facist/phobic. You have demonstrated the lack of debate and thought that so-called cancel culture is accused of doing.

The child may be non-binary so is neither a son or daughter.
