Many of these comedies are of their time. Now how close is she to Tameka Empson (Kim Fox) in Eastenders and 3 Non blondes? Many African friends sound and behave in some similar ways even today.

Cannibalism has been popular throughout history in almost every culture we just outlawed it centuries ago because of Christianity, however as we explored Africa the west found a number of tribes practising it as part of their culture & religion, some in my lifetime.

Indeed so I don't understand why people dig them out and then attempt to label them and be outraged. They are in the past, they aren't on any more so can stay in the past. Why the need to dig them up and be outraged? Wouldn't it be better just to let them die a quiet death and get on with being anti 'ist in areas that affect people now.

One does have to ask what their agenda is. Every time they think they have won, they start mentioning reparations ,so their Kings whose grandfathers sold their grandparents into slavery can buy a new BMW.

To be fair the Pepe le Pew cartoon is a bit cringeworthy now. Maybe not quite a rapist but definitely forcing himself on a clearly disinterested victim.

Not quite sure why Speedy is a racist for hating his natural predator the cat , crow or other animals poking their noses in.

The cat was disguised as a skunk, the situation was mimicking a human love ritual, cats and skunks don't do romance. Pepe was quite clearly ignoring her feelings and wants, the situation was cringeworthy for me and I suspect any normal human.
