And therefore the 6 weeks prior to that when there were no security measures in place was Feb and early march which is winter and everyone was inside etc.

Not true. Your "therefore" is there for no logical reason.
Early/mid March was warmer and drier than normal, and certainly not "winter and everyone was inside"

And that is the problem with the article, it is using grossly inflated figures to scare people into doing what they are told.

You've heard it on here first....

You are mixing up self isolation (for confirmed and presumed cases, symptomatic patients and close contacts of confirmed and presumed cases) with lockdown (for the general population). An example of where this difference matters is with essential workers. They should have exemptions from lockdown for travelling for essential work purposes, but not from self isolation.

The prevalence of cold and flu will make self isolation much harder to manage in winter, in terms of symptomatic patients who don't yet have a lab result.

No, that won't be a problem since even those with Covid who are not near death will be told to stay at home, and those who are near death will be assumed to be Covid positive.

Now the real problem will be Mor Ons refusing to wear masks and burning down 5G masts to prevent getting chips from Covid-19 vaccines.

Why? It's a nasty strain of flu. Do we go to these lengths in a bad flu season? No. Flu is nasty and flu kills too.
