This is a weekly chart of AMD showing two very similar setups since March 2020. The first setup occurred from April to July before moving up over 50% in a very short period of time. This next setup is showing something very similar to the previous setup with price trading within the same range for a little over 3 months now.

This shows where we started the “anchored volume by price” which is at the March 2020 swing low. This essentially measures how much volume there has been at different price levels since the March low. We start the volume by price from this candle because this is where the “status quo” changed (trend reversed back to the upside).

This shows a massive volume shelf (area in which there is a lot of volume creating a base for price) which is in line with the massive 3-month range that AMD is trading in.

This shows a VERY similar setup compared to #2 while also having a lot of volume at this current price level after the weekly candles have traded within the same range for over 3 months now. This creates a base for price and potential “launch pad” for price, similar to what happened in July 2020.
This shows the measured move if this same move occurred again. This ~ $28.54 measured move is less of a price % increase since this move would be at a higher price level. If this move was similar to the last one this would put the price around the $115 area.

Looks like Pooter can’t read the charts correctly
Are you suggesting Scooty has no idea what he's talking about? Shirley not?
