    Typical remoaner thinking.

If you’ve bothered to read other stories you’ll see companies like AT&T are giving all staff a 1k bonus, Wells Fargo, Comcast and Boeing are going to give all staff a pay increase and others have agreed to spend 100Ms building new plants.

    Trickle down. Genius!
What happens in General, stays in General.

The Chinese staff at Boeing's new factory will well pleased with their pay increase.

The question is whether these tax cuts will stimulate economic activity sufficient to raise the total tax take enough to offset the tax cut. If he doesn't do this, he imposes a deficit and increases the national debt, something that will have to be paid off or inflated away in the future.

In juggling the trade off between making the rich richer or the poor poorer, Trump has managed to do both.

The gap will carry on widening. Until the next depression.

Successive UK governments and HMRC could learn a thing or 2 from the US tax system.

                  Indeed. Retrospection is illegal.
