It's called leadership. It is so 'the done thing' that Private Eye (I think it was them) produced this.

The news gets worse and worse.

FFS - Wealthy living just yards from Grenfell Tower 'were handed a £100 tax rebate because of council savings' - Mirror Online

And Ealing council are the local authority who have had to take over the relief effort as Kensington and Chelsea are incapable of doing it.

On the radio this morning they said that victims have received £200,000 in total to date as part of the ongoing welfare after the fire.

And the cost of fitting a sprinkler system into the building was £200,000.

James O'Whine is busy making EU political capital about this on LBC.

Apparently these panels are not banned in the EU but are in Germany. Good job we have cross EU safety standards....

EU standards are the minimum - it is up to each member state to incorporate them into their country law and enforce them.

Oh and radio phone-ins are often the only place where members of the public can be heard by other members of the public. Yes you can still be censored but you won't completely disappear like the Beeb.

I heard today that Kensington Council have bought some massively over priced flats and are putting the survivors in them, counting them as "Building Stock". In the neighbourhood. About time. Not sure how the people paying upwards of 1 mill for their posh flats are going to react to to that.

But frankly. I don't much care...

you obviously have never listened to James O'Brien. He uses all the nasty underhand ways he can to discredit callers he doesn't like, I would imagine his callers are carefully selected.

I like Nick Ferrari, Maajid Nawaz, Clive Bull & Iain Dale most.

I actually listen to a load of them most days.

Oh and they all take callers apart.

They do it in different ways. James O'Brien will let you talk, dig yourself into a hole and ask questions that let you keep on digging before cutting you off, while Iain Dale will tell you your argument is tulip, say why and cut you off.

However as long as your argument is logical, you are straight to the point and your argument is backed up with facts where required if they disagree with you they can't disarm you.

I prefer Maajid Nawaz and Iain Dale. Nick Ferrari can be a complete arse licker and I find Clive Bull boring.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
