Haha....nice to see an ex employer screw up...

My old employer is doing the consulting for these people. No one else in the right mind would think this is a good idea. I know its a standard lean tool but I really think they are not living upto thier slogan...

It's Crap Gemini, for those who haven't guessed.
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

My last two clients have gone bust.

Nothing to do with my working for them, I might add.

Must be EDS then. Crap Gemini took over from EDS. My neighbour was involved in the transition, and has some stories to tell.

Lot's of pink faces wearing their Dad's suits at the last job I was on...

I heard a woman on the Beeb defending the policy.

Absolutely no surprise that she had a Yank accent.

I just find it sadly ironic that HMRC staff start walk outs complaining about 'Hare brained schemes' relating to... the heinous crime of.... removing pictures and sandwiches from their desks. While they are quite happy to enforce ludicrous legislation from higher ups that ruin peoples lives.

"The HMRC's Lean programme, which aims to improve efficiency, has already resulted in a work-to-rule and overtime ban among 14,000 civil servants."

Fine, so if we protest about 'hare-brained' taxation, what happens to us...? Jail probably, for non payment.

Just resign and find a proper job, perhaps torturing small animals for some 'life sciences' company - you could still cause suffering, and keep the pics of your wife and kids next the PC, just like the 'good old days' when you used to try to enforce IR35.....

Nice to see the f*ckers on the receiving end for once... long may it continue.

                Take away their pensions next.

My old employer is doing the consulting for these people. This is a direct order from them...no one else in the right mind would think this is a good idea. I know its a standard lean tool but I really think they are not living upto thier slogan..."efficency with a human face".

personally, and this is what i would genuinely do, I would bring in my own table, put it down beside my desk.. place everything i want on there, bicuits, tea, packed lunch, photo's of my family, and invite anyone else to use it... I would technically be doing what i have to..

I'm the sort of arrogant son of a gun who would do this for real.. because what they are doing is insanely stupid..
To be or not to be... or get someone else to be, and take the slack for it.
