As UK citizens, even if they're not currently living here (and haven't been for some time), I don't think we should be imposing a statutory limit (the Tories accept this, because there's a manifesto pledge to remove it) and, in many respects, the impacts (or uncertainties) on our leaving the EU are just as great for long-term, non-resident, UK citizens as the rest of us.
