Can't sleep. I'm on the top floor, right in the atic space. No air con, no spare fans.
This is what Best Western call an executive room. According to my iPhone it's currently 23 degrees in here.

After threatening to sleep in the car suddenly a ground floor room that was much much cooler became available.

Have you ever thought of putting posts like that in tpd where they belong?
Maybe if you did so then the other boys might stop being horrid to you.Comment

No that is what an independent hotel unwilling to meet the demands of a more formal chain calls an executive room.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostCan't sleep. I'm on the top floor, right in the atic space. No air con, no spare fans.

Either way it confirms you are a cheapstake. Hotel Indigo, the Crown Plaza and Hilton are all decent cheapish hotels, near the docks, Liverpool 1 and the three Graces...merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

What did you expect from a Worst Western?Originally posted by suityou01 View PostCan't sleep. I'm on the top floor, right in the atic space. No air con, no spare fans.

They're all awful; they join the Worst Western chain out of desperation because business is poor, and business is poor because they're tulip hotels.
I stayed in this place last time I went to Liverpool; http://www.visitliverpool.com/accomm...-hotel-p261971
It was pretty good but has no car park. There was a good place for breakfast behind it but it seems to have closed, but there are plenty of decent eateries nearby.
There are good B&Bs on the Wirral but then you have the traffic to contend with in the rush hour; just look for a good deal somewhere in the city centre.Last edited by Mich the Tester; 24 July 2014, 07:42.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
