If you can put up with 100 days notice you can get 1.5% - these folks were good when I used them last year:

Aldermore are doing 1.25% on a 60 day account, up to 3% for a nearly 5 year fix through their flexible savings plan.

For 100 days, you'll get 1.51% on your balance.

Edit - frustrating thing is you can't transfer from an existing Aldermore account - you need to make a withdrawal from the one account and then pay it into the new one.

Yes, that's exactly what I found, good the money is still in the current account.

Btw, do they use faster payments for withdrawals ?

Yes - I took money out just before my post yesterday, and it turned up in my Santander account online today.

It'll be heading back to the other account this afternoon....
