Are there any unfortunates out there caught up in the Inland Revenue Special Compliance Office investigation into the Consulting Overseas / Sandfield Systems Foreign currency loan scheme ? - If so are you settling or contesting?

Consulting Overasseas - Settling

I settled the claim. HMRC promised that if the claim was not investigated then they would return the money.
It appears that HMRC, after 7 years, have not taken any further action.
Looking to start trying to get the settlement money back.
Anyone else in the same situation?

I've not heard anything from Chiltern or elsewhere for a while on this - does anyone know about any testcases going through ?

I believe the first Sandfield test case is being heard in May 2012. I believe Accountax is defending the case. If you have not got representation give them a call.
