--> Yes I'm sending your CV
--> Well done, you got the gig.

I'm not really interested in anything else tbh. It's nice to hear a definite answer, but if you haven't heard anything for a couple of days you can usually assume it's a no anyway. I'd definitely still use the agent, after all, if he gets you a gig who cares if he calls back straight away or not.
      --> Rate is £xxx(x) p/day

      Permietractor (probably)

I agree with the rest of the posters.
          Basically.
Don't cut your nose off to spite your own face.
If a pimp didn't call you back with feedback from an interview within a couple of days. 99% of the time you didn't get it. No problem! You continued to look for other roles (I assume so).
If the pimp is now contacting you about new roles, then unless you are already in a role, get back to him/her/it and see if there is a contract in it for you.

Its all just business at the end of the day.

          P.S.

Smokin cos I like the animation.

The fact that the pimp has bothered to call you for other roles means they think you are a good enough candidate for them to make some money out off.

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face as there are many reasons why the contract may have not come through - projects get cancelled all the time plus some people in companies interview contractors when they have no hope in hell of getting a budget for the work.

They want to put you forward for another interview and you get all sniffy (sic) with them. Lighten up man, a gig's a gig. If you don't get it then you move right on.

If you snog some bird in the pub, swap phone numbers but they never call, are you going to turn down the offer of a shag the next time you meet?

Just another point, as a contractor, I'm not really looking from much feedback after a client interview either. If I didn't get the gig it's because they went with another solution.

When I was in the permie world, I absolutely craved feedback, from interviews, appraisals, etc. IMO - and others may disagree here - feedback from a contractor interview if you didn't get the gig is pretty much useless anway. For me, it's very Boolean:

You were good and got the gig.
You were not good and did not get the gig.

In the absence of response (a) assume response (b). It's all the info you need!
