Boomed sort of - Do I turn up?

Been offered a 3 month extension, contract ends today, I saw the authorisation email 3 weeks ago from the director. As of now I've not had the paper work although I have been copied in on chase emails from my reporting line and the agent. Public body, outsourced HR

So do I turn up on Monday in good faith or wait for the formalities?

In this climate, I'd turn up.

I'd like to give current client a chance, so fully expect the contract to be delivered, possibly not today though. I'm thinking I should take monday off even just to make a statement, no contract no work.

is it stuck with the agent who need to pull their finger out?

if so give them a call explaining you have a new role, that should speed them up a little..

Don't play safe. Take the new role if it's better.

what does the agent advise? Are they prepared to put in writing that you will get paid if you turn up even if the client subsequently backs down?
This default font is sooooooooooooo boring and so are short usernames
