No problem. Hope it works out for you.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

I've found Argos's jobs page (I didn't know there was a town called Argos in Indiana) but they're not posting anything that I fit, or even recognise as IT.

Can't seem to spot what gear + software they use (unlikely to be Siebel, that's for Customer Service but I could gently emphasize the mainframe stock control experience that is already on my CV honest guv, or whatever would help...)

VW/Audi have their IT consultancy spin off there. I know they do plenty of .net* and that customer address book you specialise in.

PM if you want more info.

            * by .net I mean the big german ERP version.

Have you checked with Mercedes, Scania or VW? They're all in MK as well.

A lot of big companies have moved out to MK so hopefully there are plenty of opportunities.

Abbey (or Santander or whatever they call themselves now)
There is a "bit" of Hays in MK too (used to be Redfern - do a lot of Mgt Info Systems for Courts/Probation etc)

If you really want to be there check the Yellow Pages and get calling......

PS - Beware the MK effect!!
(Front nearside tyre wears down at alarming rate because of all the roundabouts!)

                  VW/Audi = the VAG.

THe OH used to work there as a BA for a while. Newport Pagnell IIRC.

Sorry to **** on the bonfire, but Ahgross are laying off all contactors, unless they have plenty cheapness and do the needful! Permanent staff are being made redundant in IS too so save yourself the bother.

                    Good luck...hic!
