I know people in "the Architecture space" and they don't have any of those skills.

I think it's plonking boxes and arrows on a Visio page. Maybe some dotted lines too. Maybe stretching to a little bit of Powerpoint (only three bullets per page though mind).

The point is that seem to "work in Infrastructure"

            And they don't.

Not all things that need architecting (does that word exist?) are physical entities.

Had first of 2 interviews today - went really well - got feedback within the hour and through to second interview with CIO on Tuesday morning.

Looking good though from the feedback I got....so all well so far!

They will be wanting to slot you somewhere in here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belbin_Team_Inventory. It will pretty much give them an idea of the type of work character you are, and whether it will fit with a team or organisation.. interesting they are doing this on you as a contractor though, I wonder if the results can be different depending on whether you do the test with a contractor hat on, or with an employee hat on.. if you see what I mean?

Good luck anyway! I've got a big week this week too, 2 interviews lined up.. fingers crossed.
