I am getting a bit of conflicting "advice" from Agents thier prefered "Tax Consultants" and others.....
I have a possible opportunity for a short term gig in Europe...
The Agent put me in touch with some guys who could employ me (in Switzerland) and then I can work for them in the EU, paying Swiss Tax, NI, Pension etc PLUS thier commission.
I contacted some other guys offering a similar "service" (price comparison)
and they said we can do a similar thing (via a Spanish employer) but also (to my surprize) said if its just for a few months (LESS than 6) its not worth it - and you could just invoice via MyLimitedCo.
Back to Agent (to explore this possibility) and they (after some ummms and ahhhs and attempts to push thier solution including offering a discount) concede that it can be done via MyLimitedCo..... BUT I have to provide them with an E101.....
Back into the loop to explore E101 - and it seems that MyLimitedCo won't be able to get an E101 (because it hasn't got many employees etc etc and applying MAY even bring MyLimitedCo to Hectors attention).
So it now appears that I HAVE to use one of the "solutions" on offer which
a) Costs me 5% (or more) commission
b) Involves much more complexity
c) Doesn't provide any discernable benefits.
Any thoughts/advice.
