    Your skill set is..

    Experience of XXXXX
    Experience of YYYYYY
    Experience of ZZZ based XXXX
    Knowledge of ABC development
That must be pretty niche as I've never heard of them.

Euphemism for getting the “D” than “clearing” the house?

I only know of DV clearance.
    It’s SC clearance x 4

The only D clearance I know about is in airside operations and relates to cargo handling / airside deliveries

If you're just delivering pizzas I think a non-white surname may work in your favour

    started a topic What's a "D* Clearance"?

    What's a "D* Clearance"?

Does this read like a genuine requirement? What is a D* Clearance?
Ironically, the skill set listed is EXACTLY what I do, but seems like they somehow want to filter me out with some absurd criteria

My client based in London are looking for 4 x ABCD Developers to begin roles between October 2020 and March 2021, these are 12 month contracts and the project is due for completion in July 2021. D* clearance is MANDATORY for these roles, unfortunately if you do not have D* clearance you cannot be considered.

If you do have D* clearance please keep reading, candidates should have experience in all stages of the development life-cycle including design, build, coding, test, deployment and support and will be confident in using ABCDEF systems. They will have experience working within a technical development team to develop and maintain ABC and XYZ.

Must have (Exactly what I do):

    Experience of XXXXX
    Experience of YYYYYY
    Experience of ZZZ based XXXX
    Knowledge of ABC development

If you are interested and will be available within these dates, please apply with a word version of your CV. If you are unavailable but you can recommend somebody, please ask them to reach out as there are 4 positions
I'm in a situation where I wonder if they're filtering me out because my name doesn't sound white or if they actually want to hire someone on a visa, but are advertising the job here to tick some boxes
