    Received today

3 month initial contract (overall project runs until July 2021)
    Remote/work from home contract
    Latest start: 26/10
    Approx £400-£440/day

Due to Brexit, there are new regulations which HMRC have outlined about what documentation must be in place before goods can be moved from one country to another. Anything being imported or exported must have a GMR ID which the carrier (in this case our client) needs to validate. If the haulier doesn't have a GMR code, the carrier is not allowed to allow them to cross until the correct documentation in place and the code has been given by HMRC.

The role is linked to moving away from free trade and makes sure the haulier has all the different declarations in place. Putting in a process to make sure our client can ensure they can validate the haulier has raised the correct documents for goods that are crossing. This is particularly working on GB and NI routes.

    Responsibilities
    - Gathering and finalising requirements.
    - Creating journey maps and training material.
    - Holding meetings with internal staff and HMRC
    - Working closely with the development and test team.

    Preferred experience
    Experienced Business Analyst
Ideally freight or cargo experience (if not either of these travel sector experience would be OK)

    Nice to have
    Regulatory experience
Experience of working on projects where they have had to engage with HMRC.

Hearing about some service roles coming up. I expect they may be contract to perm but, I suppose if you're canny enough, you could encourage the client to see you as the set up phase and then hand it all over to perms...

    Head of Cloud Operations
    Head of Service Management
    2 x Service Managers / Service Delivery
SME to consult on shaping and executing the journey to cloud

I don't have any further details, just collecting names and passing them on. Do give me a bit of blurb, a CV, or a LI profile link to pass on. I'm not going to just randomly chuck names over the fence.

Office HQ is in London, WFH initially.
