Agent fishing for CV with too good to be true job?

Last week a recruiter contacted me about a position with a big tech company, they withheld the job spec until I had a phone conversation with them, and gave a salary I'd leave my current contract for.
However since I've googled for the title given on the job spec, the job is advertised on the typical large job boards - is this agent just CV fishing/ doing something dodgy, given they were precious about sending out a spec available freely on the internet?

That's weird, they usually fish with mediocre jobs!
