My personal and company details are disclosed

As a company director (contractor), I know my data can be found on the CompanyHouse.
But I dont expect that the personal data (date of birth and full residential address) can also be disclosed so easily if someone simply search your name on google search.

Are you guys concerned about your personal data disclosed on the google search results? I believe that some of you must have the same issue.

I have search my name on the google search, and found my details are displayed on the following links on google search results. Any suggestion?

    ie companyformationuk.co
    findthecompany
    cbetta
    ..... etc

How can I remove my personal and company details from the google search engine, as there is no contact details to request them to add the non-index tags from search engine.

My concern is the identity theft and fault.

Register your business at your accountants and not your home... but otherwise you can't hide your data.

Plenty of threads on this and associated reasons why you can't etc here...

Stop reading the daily mail, and stop worrying about it. You are a company director, get used to it.

And there was me about to go around and go through his bins to get a mobile phone.

On a more serious note OP regardless of whether your details are on a public register (and most people are on sites like 192) you should be using a cross cut shredder to get rid of your documents.

Very easy for you to say until you've had multiple mobile phone contracts fraudulently taken out using your details, which results in you failing a credit check for a gig and you then have the pleasure of dealing with Experian to get it all cleaned up.

You don't need to be a director for it to happen.

Hence my point about sites like 192 and going through bins.

Even then they can just con the postie into giving you your mail as due to most routes now having a few rather than just one they won't remember everyone.

Also now you can get free credit check reports from the likes of experian.

              Hi Guys,

Just out of interest, how about your personal data and company details? Do you have the same issue?

Do you manage to hide part of your data as a company director? or you don't mind your personal data being shown on search engine.

Isn't that the same question you've just asked?

But they don't answer if they have the same issue of their personal data of their companies. How about you?

We did answer. You can't hide it but you can register your company with your accountant so your home address isnt on there. It's the same rule for all directors do I'm not bothered. It's part and parcel of running a company. If you don't like it go via an umbrella instead.
