What job title do you have on your business card?

This thread has reminded me to get some business cards/company stationery printed up. Not sure what to put my job title as, if I do fill it in it'll be something like "Database Consultant".

Can anyone recommend any good/cheap printers? Or are they all much the same?

Any one man (or woman) IT contractor ltd company director that puts "managing director" on their business card is a complete twunt. And yes I know a good friend who does, and I've told them such. They are constantly on Facebook spouting on and on about their company winning clients and being MD. Twunt.

I use business cards for Plan B but no so much for contracting.

I know I usually end up dumping business cards in a drawer or the bin and assume others do the same to mine so I put my details into a QR barcode on my phone so it can be scanned if you meet someone you want to be in touch with and it gets saved to their contacts. So much neater.

There's a special place under my patio for contractors who put CEO as their title. It's becoming so common i will end up with no grass left.

I used a small (maybe a 1-man shop) company Scubaprint a couple or 3 times although I haven't had any new ones done for some time. It depends what you count as cheap, it's not like VistaPrint but while I don't advocate spending money for the sake of it, you at least want decent thickness nice card.

mine are eggshell with romalian type. What do you think?
