To put it bluntly there are contracts all over London. Look and you will find.

The operative word here is "look". Otherwise expect abuse when you ask vague questions you should answer yourself.

Assuming you're not a sockie (which I suspect you probably are), it doesn't matter where most of the contracts are. It matters where yours is. Get the contract and then move closer to it.

On the contrary, I'm currently thinking of relocating to where I'm statistically more likely to find contracts.

I've done the maths and that place to move closer to is London.
