I had one for an American company on September the 11th, and not having mobile access wasn't aware of the news

I had a load of technical tests in the morning and all seemed to be going well, after eating in their canteen and restarting the interview process nothing seemed different

Suddenly during the interview everyone walked out, didn't come back for what seemed ages and they looked well shell shocked

Strangely the tone of the interview suddenly seemed to change and their behaviour and body language made no sense till I got home

It more a case of unfortunate timing than anything, as I phoned the agency after the interview and said I wanted nothing to do with them if they're going to be that rude
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Once had one where I was asked questions about a completely different programming language than I've experience of.

Spent part of the interview mentally preparing the rant I'd have at the agent for trying to blag me into a role etc... until one of the interviewers said "apologies, we know you're a Java guy but we've just changed our minds on the technology stack to use. We figured since you're a developer you'd easily adapt".

Thankfully nothing came of it - I'd have refused anyway - but the icing on the cake was they wanted to pay for full training in that language...

The guy doing the interview didn't have my cv, or the job role details from HR!
So he started by asking what I do and what I had applied for.
He then started to rip into me about why I wouldn't be good at x or y.
However, x and y weren't even required for the role I applied to do.
        Complete waste of time.
I got back to HR with some seriously constructive comments, then accepted a role with another company.

Not so much a bad interview but got shown round one client co in Waterloo, after the pretty good interview I got shown round and introduced to literally everyone from MD to tea lady. Shown the desk "where I would be working from", even discussed the work I would do.

You know the end, no call from pimp, nothing. Never could work that one out.

He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Possibly, maybe my request for some Kwazulu tea didn't go down well.

Had a cracking interview in Sunderland, VMS role, IT manager and MD interviewed me, afterwards, MD took me aside and set 'You've got this, Mr 'IT Manager' likes you....' and we had a very pleasant chat in general.

                Never heard a thing.......

Well how about i tell you from an agents perspective. You think YOU lot have to interview with a load of bell ends...

I remember going for an interview with Progressive many years ago, the interview consisted of 3 spotty herberts asking me why i was going to be their next big biller. They then brought in the top young sales guy that year who spent 15 mins telling me how great he was, didnt ask me a single question and then the other guys said 'its a no'.

I also had another interview with a company i wont name, i was asked if i could be any item in the supermarket what would it be and why... i was also asked at blistering pace questions like Britney Spears or Kylie Minogue and then WHY... it was like being in surreal nightmare.

There was also the obligatory 'Swiss Tony' type character who would walk into the interview room like he had the best idea ever and would push a Bic pen towards you and say 'sell me that pen...' all the while dripping with repugnance.

Recently I went along to see a client I had worked at about 4 years ago. I had help set up a system there and was working there for about a year putting things together.

There was two of them, both brought in after I had left. I was there about an hour and all went well. On the way back to the foyer one of them told me that the processes/coding I had created for this system, was some of the best work he had ever seen and the subsequent work on the system was all based around my initial work.

Once I managed to get my head out of the door and myself on the tube I was quietly confident of an offer.

                    They chose someone else.

Years ago. Permie interview. Agent told me yeh its in the south west but interview is in London.

So, £100+ on train. 2nd question - So you'd plan to relocate to london then? I guess they saw the look on my face and I told them I thought it was South West. End of interview.

Went nuts with agent. In the end, got them to cough up for train fare after he admitted it was always london but he was confident I'd like the job so much I'd be willing to relocate. Tosser.
