No deal Brexit would be a betrayal

No-deal Brexit would be a betrayal, says Philip Hammond | Politics | The Guardian

The expected demise of Theresa May’s Brexit plan has sparked open feuding over what comes next, with the chancellor, Philip Hammond, arguing that proponents of a no-deal Brexit are betraying the referendum result.

Not leaving on March 29th was a betrayal.

    What would Nelson Mandela do?

Surely a betrayal is when you promise you’ll campaign for a second referendum if the result is close, then complain that anyone who wants a second referendum is undemocratic?

Nigel repeatedly said the UK could be like Norway or Switzerland, now he seems to be advocating for the UK to be like Zimbabwe or North Korea.

You didn’t vote for a date.

              What would Nelson Mandela do?
Which Nelson Mandela? The one before his arrest, the one during his incarceration, or the one after his release?

No nearly every politician voted for that date when they enacted A50 and then when it got close panicked and tried to change their mind.
