Grayling the Transport Minister and Brexiter

It goes about as well as anyone would expect.

If it’s in the Torygraph it must be bad. Worth every bit of his ministerial salary.

Road haulage firms have accused Chris Grayling, the transport secretary, of failing to put in place any credible contingency plans for a 'no-deal' Brexit scenario, as well as "knowing nothing" about their industry.

Speaking to the Telegraph, industry leaders said they were left astonished in recent meetings with Mr Grayling where he appeared to be unaware that British lorry drivers would not be able to carry goods on the continent if the UK crashes out of the bloc.

Wasn't Chris Grayling sacked from his last job for incompetence?
I've heard from my contacts in the Tory party (not joking here) that it's between him and IDS who gets the title of Tory party village idiot.
Although apparently Priti Patel is making a strong showing.
      Hard Brexit now!

Probably easier to count the number of portfolios he hasn’t been sacked from for incompetence.

I wouldn’t trust him to put his trousers on the right way round in the morning.

I'm sure one of the bright spark Brexidiots on here will be along soon to tell us the lorry firms need to embrace the change and wonder what they're scared off. I'm sure too they'll have the same blank looks as Grayling had. The lack of understanding of reality for Brexiters still astonishes me. Even with all these facts and the reality coming to the fore they still don't get it.

Well I reckon a fudged (non-) Brexit will happen at the last moment.
It's really a battle between the people on the right hand side of the Gaussian curve and those on the left.
The fudge will still condemn the country to being the new Italy of Europe though.

So will I not be able to drive in Europe after the 29th March then?

Are you a road haulage operator, required to be licensed to deliver the services of driving goods transportation vehicles?

That's not the point. If it doesn't affect OPM, then it's not an issue for the country, the haulage companies can start up different businesses, it's times like this that are great opportunities for people to move away from their stick-in-the-mud jobs and trying something different.

                    And anyway, blue passports.
