          At no point did I ever advocate LEAVING the EU, especiually on the worst possible terms.
          This is one of the myths put forward by Brexiters - that you have to leave the EU to export more to the rest of the world.
          But Germany does it within the EU.

          But let's say we had managed to double our exports to India and China, say.
          THEN we could more plausibly have left the EU.

          Now, I suspect the blow caused by a hard Brexit would be the tipping point.
          Hard Brexit now!

            We have no idea what the terms of leaving the EU are.

            Most Brexiters only cared about giving DC a kicking. And the feeling that there are too many people for the size of the country and the services available.
