You factor in the benefits. Get a quote for Sickness Insurance - add that in. Are they currently paying into your pension? Add that in too. Then bump up the rate to account for the 4 weeks paid holiday you'll be losing. The think of anything else you're going to be losing out on. -

Need to do your research before you jump to see if you are going to be able to get regular work in those areas then. Agree. Don't go into contracting off the back of a knee-jerk reaction.
