    Thanks

Hey guys thanks for your advice, since writing this i have repeatedly tried to contact the Agency guy who is dealing with the job advert. I have sent him numerous emails and phoned several times to speak with him directly to at least get some sort of scope on the job he was advertising. The job he is advertising is well within my skill set so even if it was another company I'm 100% certain he would be calling me back to discuss it further, but no i haven't heard a word from him. That to me is a clear enough indication that he doesn't want to speak with me.

They have no reason to sack me or replace me as the 1-1's i have had with my manager have always been quite positive and he has never given me any indication as to me being replaced or sacked. We have reviewed my performance which has never been in question, the only sticking points have been areas that have needed improvement, things i can do as i carry on in my role.

The previous guy in my role the person i replaced was sacked and left the company the same day he was spoken to by my manager, he left with a big compo package because he was being bullied out.

Not once has my manager told me that my job was on the line because of my performance.

I work as a Space Planner for a global digital media company.

Thanks for the advice guys i really appreciate it and I'll post an update if i do get the boot.

    Cheers

The only reason to replace you is the need for new Temp 'fresh blood' exactly as BlasterBates said.

You have done nothing wrong, the client just likes temporary workers, not wannabe permies.

I'm afraid that because of this there is nothing you can do to keep yourself in this role, they will replace you when they can. I think that the best you can hope for is that they keep you to the end of your contract.
