Professional Indemnity Insurance for working with North American company

I am about to take a 5month contract working primarily from my UK home with an North American based company.
I am hoping I can make the contract with a UK subsiduary office but I am doubtful.
My PI Insurance does not cover North America and they say they cannot extend it.
Anyone have any suggestions based on what they have done in this scenario, or companies who will give US cover?
