    Fees not invoiced

I did a bit of work for a friend of mine and it paid him pretty hansomly and he has given me a share. I never invoiced this but I want to put the money into the
company , how do I do it ?

On another issue, I am about to be paid a bonus on a contract coming to an end that was invoiced but I dont want it to show as it was invoiced in an old company
name that I am winding up, what can I do with that ?

      1. Create an invoice for the work and also get your mate to create a PO for the work. Then email them to each other. If you don't do this then you have to declare the money on your self-assessment otherwise it's tax evasion.

      2. You have to put it through the old company otherwise it's tax evasion. You will be able to get the money out so have a word with your accountant.

Thanks , no chance I'd want to do anything dodgy , just didnt want the funds to get 'locked' in the old company somehow.

Your old company can't be wound up until it's ceased trading for 3 months so watch it. You could ask the client to allow your new company to be paid the bonus but you are probably just going to annoy them if you do that.
