just wondering what most contractors do ie renting/mortage wise as obviously you never totally know if or when your contract will be renewed so its hard to plan ahead etc. is there a minimun term for renting etc......

I always rent. I have never had a problem finding somewhere that will match my length of contract. -

I would buy a BTL if the contract was 6months+ and rent back to myself. Then kept it and moved on, renting it out. Landed up with 3 BTL and a house.
Not sure if the numbers stack up now, but worth doing the calculations to see if it does.What happens in General, stays in General.You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
