    Advise on IOM

just recieved a mail from Sanzar staing they are moving to a loan payment scheme post April....

This was something they always said they would never do and used to state this on thier web site.

Any one got any thoughts I think I am going to jump ship

This seems far to dodgey now!

Montpelier did the same thing from 12th March 2008.

    I went limited in October.

I agree : too dodgy now. Others may disagree : depends on your attitude to risk.

      Hmm....

Is it because of BN66 that they are moving to a loan scheme?

I was actually considering joining Sanzar - I remember on these forums a sanzar rep talking about thier solution and the fact that they are in the process of taking out insurance to cover tax liabilities.
Wonder why they changed thier mind.....

But at least they are being proactive and closing a scheme at risk themselves...before HMRC come knocking....

I've got some advice, I strongly advise you to learn the difference between "Advise" and "Advice".

I use a limited company and manage to retain approx 75%, and sleep like a log.

One option is to use "is" (verb) and "ice" (noun) for words like "practise" (verb) and "practice" (noun). It also works for "license" (verb) and "licence" (noun), (except that they don't actually have "is" or "ice" in them. No, wait, they both have "ice" in them, but in a different place. Damn.)

I just remembered why I abandoned my dreams of becoming a teacher.

What sort of scheme do they currently run? Is this based on a DTA with IOM for example?

As has already been said, didn't Sanzar come on here and talk about insurances etc...has this died a death?
