There's not much to say except that if you have decided that ltd co is right for you, then get a ltd company setup and also get a decent accountant to keep it straight for you.

There are some accounting firms that take care of the ltd co setup for you as part of their new company setup service.

Personally I run as ltd co but unfortunately have an expensive sausage factory for an accountant so I'm planning to give them the boot soon

I'd like to point out that £2'000'000 Professonal Indemnity insurance on a contract that's worth £26'000 seems a little excessive.

What's the chances that you would ever be in a position to cause £2'000'000 worth of damage?

With a company income of £1000 a week, a personal net income, from dividends and salary, or even just salary, of £2000 a month is very easy to achieve.

Nothing to complicated here. Get your accountant to set up the ltd co with a bank a/c and VAT registration. We do this for free as do a lot of others.

Then make sure the service you want is the same as the service as the accountant is offering and that you are comfortable with the way they communicate etc.

Get your insurance (£2mil is pretty standard - I think) and then you are good to go.
