So, my current contract expired this week so planning on getting a nice new iphone on Friday. Trouble is my secretary has now said she also needs one to replace her business phone.

As long as I get them both setup through the business account can anyone see a problem with this?

How come your contract expiring is a pre-requisite for getting a new phone? Will your old one not handle the volume of calls from pimps you'll now be receiving?

phone contract is expiring not client contract.

I looked into mobiles a while back, my conclusion was it is fine to have 1 mobile phone per employee through the business with unlimited personal calls and no BIK. However, the co. secretary must be an *employee* of the company, just being the co secretary doesn't make her an employee. If she's being paid a salary for admin then I can't see an issue with that. [beware, I'm not an accountant]

the secretary is also a paid employee, think I'll check with the accountants fist but I'm fairly sure it should be ok.

As said, each employee can have a company provided mobile phone.

Bigger question is WHY would you want an iPhone?

I've been using my iPhone for the last month it's great, the text touch for SMS and general typing takes some getting used to. The general ergonomics when making a call is not the best but that's where the negative stops everything else is great. Normal ipod headphones with mic deliver top quality during a call better than a landline if that’s possible.

Have been using Vodafone with EDGE network support you can do this with Vodafone if you are a business customer and with a 12 month contract, also Vodafone have far better coverage than O2 that’s why I’m using an unlocked phone. EDGE not as fast as 3G of course but is fine for checking your e-mails.

I love hove it remembers your wireless networks you joined, every time I go in to my local starbucks it joins automatically.

there maybe a problem with the fact that they don't work and they are just overblown hype like everything apple makes...
