    skip hire on expenses ?

Would it be reasonable for my ltd co to hire a skip to throw out all of the waste paper etc I have generated during the course of my business activites to date ?

What is it with people asking stupid expense questiond at the moment??

Your LTD can do what it wants, the question you need to ask yourself is can you justify it to HMRC when the tax man comes round and investigates you.

A skip!? How could a one man band generating a skip load of waste paper and storing it over the years in his office be "reasonable". Dont be so feckin daft.

            Of course you can.

Whether HMRC would see it as a valid business expense, rather than a benefit in kind, and that you are trying to evade tax payments, is a completely different question.
