Security alarm for home office through expenses?

Can a security alarm for my house be claimed through expenses?
I have been quoted £200 from a friend who fits alarms and i would like to offset this amount.

Nope, it's personal as it's fitted to your personal residence.

How about a proportion of it attributed through your business - I have a special IR/Microwave device for the home office and it's own circuit. Can I claim a %?

What items can be claimed if it's your residence but a bona fide office (6 servers, specific a/c, custom office furniture) without falling foul of CGT?
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.
