Hi all,
I'm writing a deep-dive piece for Contractor UK about the recent wave of Loan Charge recall demands being sent out by West 28th Street Ltd. I know this has been landing with contractors since around April, and that the amounts being demanded are, in some cases, life-altering.
I want to write something that actually reflects what this is like for the people going through it, and look into whether these demands are even legally enforceable.
If you've received one of these letters, or know someone who has, I'd really like to hear from you. You don't need to use your name and I'm happy to keep everything anonymous, this isn't about putting anyone on the spot, it's about making sure the people making decisions about this issue understand the real impact.
If you're open to a chat, even just to explain what's happened or what you're currently dealing with, please reply or drop me a DM if that feels safer. No pressure either way, and thank you to anyone willing to talk, share their view or experience.
Best,
Lottie
