    Life Insurance through the Business?

I'm thinking about getting some life insurance, one company is saying that the premiums can be paid by MyCo. How can this be right? (benefits would be payable to my family). They seemed vague when asked about this.

I don't recall this topic coming up before, before NLUK tells me to check the links and ask my accountant

    Platypus Platypus Platypus...

I didn't think you were part of the troll NLUK brigade.

Relevant Life is the term you need for your search.

It can be paid by your company as with all things. However, whether it is disallowable for CT or subject to BIK is a different story. For insurances, if the company paid for it, the question would be who is the beneficiary for the policy which will determine whether there is any BIK charge.

Take a look at Key Man insurace, which is for officers of companies rather than real people but has the same effect.

Agree with GoT, the IPSE version is among the best options
          Blog? What blog...?

There is a guy that does discounts, can't remember if it's for CUK or IPSE. LPA was it? Long time since I've spoken to them though.

BBTTT: is IPSE still considered worthwhile for this sort of thing?

                God, that would suck...
