Middle finger extended to Hector...I expect that they will now come after me for 660A....Also thanks to QDOS for taking this through to the conclusion

So are you going to invoice them for all the extra work the "review" created for you?

It would be nice to be able to claim back what it cost me in time...but unlikely to happen - I have taken the view that contrary to my own personal sense of fairness the correct thinking for todays government is:

Take any & every opportunity to not pay any taxes whatsoever - you really have to look after yourself & family first -even if that means visiting the uncharted waters of tax evasion (just make sure if you are caught there is nothing for them to confiscate)

            Well done Maximus.
Goes to show that if you have evey base covered, you shouldn't fear the IR.
Having said that, I doubt if most people have. Lots just hide their head in the sand and think the IR will never come after them.

From the sounds of it, looks like it took a few years of investigation. Let that be a lesson to all. Ihe IR can and probably will, drag these things out for years. Cover all your bases, the longer you're in this game, they'll get around to you eventually.

May I respectfully suggest replacing the word "evasion" with "avoidance"

Evasion is illegal, avoidance is perfectly legal.

Pedantic definition, granted, but one that the law clearly makes.
