    Payslips

    Hello guys,

i asked my account if I needed to provide a payslip of my month salary to myself or the IR, and he said since I am paying myself the minimal amount of £5035 per year = £419.58 per month, I don't need to do this..???

I am actually calling PCG now....but would like some thoughts...

    Thanks.

I dont think there is a concrete requirement for it but it cant hurt to have one on file. I have pukka payslips showing gross net and PAYE/NI payements provided by my accountants ( SJD )

No - it'll all be on your SA...

No, you don't. Do take the trouble to produce and file them regularly though. Although there is no legal requirement to have them, it makes life a LOT easier if you are picked for a PAYE review by HMRC. Well worth the two minutes a month it would take.

There is an urban myth that dividends can only be paid quarterly or half yearly, you can pay monthly provided there is the profits to support the payment.
