Would claiming the VAT on an OU course be allowed. I really fancy doing a physics degree with them as I always should have done this first time round instead of Logistics management....wondering if I can claim the VAT back from the courses and put it down as "employee" training.

Just ask yourself, was the expense incurred wholly and necessarily, etc?
BTW, VAT fraud is extremely serious and can result in prison time for relatively small amounts. -
Only if a degree in Physics is directly applicable to your job - which, unless you are a researcher of some kind, I think Hector may find unlikely...
