You can NOT claim 100% vat back on road fuel. You can not claim any fuel cost or VAT cost if you are claiming mileage. If you are a small business there is little point in trying to claim any vat on fuel because it is very complicated formulae. Does bold underline make things true?
This was why the likes of Parasol starting asking for receipts at the start of the year.
I remember reading that they allow a certain amount of leeway, and it doesn't have to be exactly on month boundaries as that's not necessarily how you buy fuel.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
