I was thinking out loud to myself, what can I do with all my filthy lucre that's sitting in my pension fund and that I cannot touch for years.
I came across 'Pension Liberation', which effectively is a way of taking money out of your pension fund before 55, but the cost of doing so can be as high as 75% of the value of the fund.
Then I wondered about 'PensionLoans'. Not that I need a loan, I was interested in how this would work.
A few companies around - Can I Sell My Pension? | Sell Pension UK offering you money against your pension. I was wondering how this works.
My assumption is, that this is no more than a type of secured loan, but was struggling to find out. With the changes in the pension schemes, is this a New Plan B?
Anyone familiar with this?
