Contractor Accountants - Legislation and Control

Who are UK Contractor Accounts answerable to?

Can they charge the earth, or are there controls on how much they can charge?

    Hi dvaidr, welcome to CUK

Most (but not all) accountants are regulated by their governing body - ACCA, CIMA, AAT.

But they can charge what they like - it's all about what they specialise in, their customer service, the services they provide and who their customers are.

So anything from £60 to £XXX,000 a month basically.

They can charge what the market will bear.
