2-3 days is extreme. Good backup system should be able to restore image within 2-3 hours tops.

okay, my company has got over 3000 users that use various networked resources, and despite lots of money invested into MSFT stuff there are still cases when we would be out of mail for a few hours. Crap still happens, and 2-3 hours lost every few months is not a big deal. The big deal is 2-3 hours lost per day per employee browsing sites for recreational purposes like this one.

Novell is on its way out and you will see it very shortly. You heard it here first.

Of course, if there's something to recover to that is!

well, we are talking about software solutions not hardware? if you are so worried about hardware then have identical box with mirrored data, this has got nothing to do with Novell and/or SBS2000.

sit back, relax and watch your beloved Novell die in pain, you rebel scum
